Vicarious Visions, the company behind the GBA versions Tony Hawk and the XBox and GC versions of Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast, has officially been announced by Activision and id Software as the company responsible for producing the XBox port of Doom 3.
Although no actual release date for the console version of the game has been announced, the much anticipated game is bound to create a buzz around the name of any console it is associated with. Once again it seems that Microsoft are luring a former PC exclusive title to their XBox console.
The PC version of Doom 3 is expected on Q1, 2004.
