Sigil Games Online, announced that original "EverQuest" designer Ryan Palacio has accepted the position of Senior Game Designer to begin work immediately on the next generation massively multiplayer game "Vanguard: Saga of Heroes." He joins many of his former teammates already at Sigil, including Milo Cooper, Steve Clover, Mike Hutchins and Brad McQuaid.
Palacio joined 989/Verant in 1997, worked with the original EverQuest team, and is best known for being integral in the population and balancing of early high level content, including Bottom Guk and Solusek B. He also contributed to the expansions EverQuest: The Ruins of Kunark and EverQuest: Scars of Velious. He then continued to work with Sony Online Entertainment on EverQuest 2 and, more recently, shipped Star
Wars: Galaxies.
