'Unit Lost' voice returns for Command and Conquer remastered

The remastered version of Command and Conquer is currently well under development and looks to revamp the classic gameplay with updated graphics, improved audio, support for higher resolutions and ultrawide monitors, add support for new operating systems, and overall multiplayer to make matchmaking work in 2019 and beyond. One touch that will make it feel like the original, though, is bringing back the original voice actor to say "Unit Lost" and other messages.

That's not how she'd describe herself though. Kia Huntzinger is not a voice actor by trade, as

Unfortunately, the original recordings of her work have been long lost to time, so in an effort to uprate the audio throughout Command and Conquer for the re-release, EA has brought Huntzinger back in to redo all her original lines, more than 20 years later.

As you can hear, the voice is the same, but the quality is vastly improved over the original. It and other improvements will come with CnC Remastered when it debuts next year.
