If you're a paying Twitch Prime subscriber, your rewards just got that bit better. Every single month, Twitch Prime members will now be getting access to a bunch of free games and it starts March 15, with a selection of Super Hot, Oxenfree, Mr Shifty, Shadow Tactics and Tomb of Annihilation.
Although the program is starting off with smaller indie games, that won't be the case forever we're told, with plans to partner up with some AAA developers to put out some fantastic top-tier games of yesteryear too.
What's great about these games though, isn't just that they're popular releases from different parts of the gaming spectrum, but that gamers can keep them forever. So if you hear about some great games going free, you can subscribe for a month and then cancel, and still keep all the games for free. You might like to stay for all of the other Twitch Prime benefits, but if you don't, you'll still have a handful of games to explain away that one month subscription fee.
The second rotation of games will kick in at the start of April and will give away: Tales from the Borderlands, SteamWorld Dig 2, Kingsway, Tokyo 42 and Dubwars.
Installing the games will require the Twitch desktop app, just as previous free game releases have.
As PCGamesN points out too, don't forget that this is all part of the Amazon Prime membership too. If you already have a Prime membership, all you have to do is connect your Twitch account and you can have all of the benefits of Twitch Prime too.
