John Garcia-Shelton is currently working on a very promising FPS called Legendary but his last title, Turning Point: Fall of Liberty, was a failure and he admits it.

"Turning Point was basically a run and ship experience on an evolving engine and with a partner that had very focused financial goals," he told Official Xbox Magazine.

Garcia-Shelton works for Spark Unlimitad, the company that developed Turning Point: Fall of Liberty under the banner of Codemasters.

"Legendary, by contrast, has had the time to develop unique gameplay features and the fortunate chance to iterate on those features to really make them sing", he added. "We also have had a much longer post-production period that has allowed us to react to focus testing, multiple iterations on play balancing, and time to continually go back and squeeze out better lighting and texture fidelity from a high action game."

Spark unlimited is working under Atari's banner this time around.
