Toy Maker Confirms New Crash Bandicoot Game By Sony

When it comes to teasing an unannounced upcoming game, some companies such as Valve like to cleverly hide its hints in unexpected locations such as its website's page source or in cryptic clues in other games. Apparently, Sony is not one of those companies.

Sony sent out several not-that-subtle hints that it bringing back Crash Bandicoot this year.

Last week the official Sony Middle East Twitter account posted a wanted poster for Crash Bandicoot.

The Arabic text in the tweet translates to: "The most wanted person… Where are your, Crash?"

If that's not clear enough for you, NECA Toys' toy director Randy Falk explicitly told toys and action figures enthusiast PixelDan Eardley that a new Crash Bandicoot game is set for release this year.

Crash Bandicoot was created by Sony in 1996 and quickly grew to be a cultural icon. The franchise was sold to different publishers over the years until it was obtained by Activision in 2008. Of course, it is entirely possible that Sony could be working with Activision on the new game.
