Thermaltake debuts new RTX 2080 and 2080 Ti RGB waterblocks

If you want to take the rather expensive step of picking up a new RTX 2080 or 2080 Ti graphics card, then you might want to go on step further and put together a custom watercooling loop to keep them super cool too. One solution for the block end of that collective cooling measure is Thermaltake's new Pacific V-RTX waterblocks which fit both of the new high-end Nvidia GPUs and they come with RGB lighting to boot.

The new blocks feature a 0.5mm internal fin layout and high-flow design so that there is no impediment to the cooling process. It features a fully machined copper base and a universal mounting system that makes it compatible with the two Nvidia RTX cards. The top is acrylic so you can see right through to the coolant and the fins and the RGB lighting is fully programmable using Thermaltake's TT RGB PLUS Software. It also supports the TT AI Voice Control function and Amazon Alexa Voice Service, so if you want to make adjustments to the system just by talking, you can do.

The waterblock is compatible with a number of different 2080 and 2080 Ti cards, including the Nvidia Founders Editions of both cards, Asus dual and Turbo RTX 2080/2080Ti cards, Gigabyte's WF-series cards, EVGA's 11G and 08G models, and Zotac's ZT-T series cards.

The only problem with this announcement is that we don't have a price yet. The cards go on sale this week, with the waterblocks set to follow in early October. We will likely learn what the prices are then, but don't expect high-end waterblocks like these to go for anything less than $120, possibly more.

Are any of you waiting on pre-orders of the new cards?
