Squanchtendo's first VR game is an accounting simulator

If Job Simulator gave us the first glimpse of how fun it can be to just perform silly, nonsense tasks in virtual reality, the first game from Rick and Morty creator, Justin Roiland's studio, could take it to the next level.

The game is called Accounting, a short experience which represents the first release by Roiland's own developer, Squanchtendo. It's entirely free though, so the fact that it only lasts 15 minutes or so shouldn't be too irksome.

Coming from where it does, it's not too much of a surprise that the gameplay is rather silly. The short series of gameplay sections have you being yelled at by someone who sounds kind of like Morty, an office with big VR buttons to press and things to interact with, a random forest with a factory and lots and lots of silly voices, which have a Stanley Parable feel to them.

*Warning* lots of not safe for work language in this recording.

Presumably this will just be one of many VR efforts by Squanchtendo, but the whole virtual reality scene seems like a good fit for the brand of humour and surrealism that we have come to expect from Roiland.

We're pretty excited to see what he can come up with next.
