Sony is compensating PSN users for the Christmas outage with a five day extension and a onetime 10% discount in the PlayStation Store.
"We wanted to show our appreciation for your patience by offering all PlayStation Plus members that had an active membership or free trial on December 25th a membership extension of five days," said Sony Network Entertainment VP Eric Lempel.
Additionally, Sony will give affected users a onetime 10% discount towards the total cart purchase in the PlayStation Store. This discount can be used toward any content available on the PlayStation Store including games, add-ons, season passes, TV shows and movies. It will be available later this month.
