Rockstar classics are coming to the Xbox One in June

If you miss the days where Rockstar released more than one game every five years and debuted big expansions between major releases -- instead of just selling a new plane for $100 a pop -- then you're in luck! Many of Rockstar's most beloved titles are being ported over to the Xbox One, giving gamers young and old a chance to enjoy them for the first, second, or n'th time.

We aren't talking the original GTA games though, you can find those on abandonware sites if you dig around enough. We're talking about GTA: San Andreas, Midnight Club: Los Angeles (the original and complete edition) and Rockstar Games Presents: Table Tennis.

Yes, for those who don't remember, Rockstar did once make a table tennis game. It wasn't half bad either but many now know it as the first real test of Rockstar's "Rage" engine, otherwise known as the Rockstar Advanced Graphics Engine. It worked rather well, which is why it's still being used today.

With these classic ports, saves cannot transfer between consoles -- even if you're using the same Xbox ID -- as VG247 points out, but if you already own any of those games, you can get the upgraded version for free, so there's something. If you own the digital version, you'll find it located within the "Ready to Install" section of your Xbox account when the games debut and if you still have the disc somewhere, just pop it in to enjoy those classic Xbox gaming memories.

All of those original titles in their upgraded forms will launch on June 7. Who's excited for some Rockstar table tennis action?
