Like many online multiplayer games, especially competitive ones, PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds has its fair share of assholes. There are the griefers, the hackers, the cheaters and the trolls, to name but a few, and traditionally Battlegrounds didn't have much in the way of recourse for players affected by them - you just simply jumped into another game and hoped that there was none of them in there. With 100 players in each though, that was never a guarantee.
Fortunately, developer Bluehole has now added full support to its report button, so you can now send in complaints about individual players for its support team to look into. If they find someone behaving not as they should, suspensions and bans may follow, helping to clear out some of the undesireables from one of the world's most popular games.
Players, please use the in-game report function to report teamkillers and cheaters. There is no longer any need to report the teamkillers on our forum as the in-game system is now fully functional. Thank you for helping us build a fair playing environment!

Reporting has been something that's been present in game for a while, but although the button to do so has existed for months, it's functionality was never guaranteed. That meant that until now, the best way to report players who weren't playing by the rules was to head to the forums and make a manual complaint with screenshots and video. That was hardly ideal, so the newly functional button is a very welcome change.
Now that it can be twinned with match replays and killcam footage to double check who's doing what, this should be a much more effective way to clean up the game.
Do you guys think you'll make use of the report button more than you did forum reports?
