Sony has announced that, starting from February 27th, the PSP price will be cut down from $169.99 to $129.99.
According to Sony, the PSP has sold more than 23 million units in the U.S.A. and 67.8 million units worldwide.
The PSP's successor, codenamed NGP, is scheduled for release by Christmas this year and the PlayStation branded Phone, dubbed Xperia Play, is scheduled for release in April.
