PlayStation TV just got a little cheaper... in the US

If you were planning on picking up PlayStation TV, the set top box and home-version of the Vita handheld console, then now might be the time to do so - if you're in the US. The mini console has now been priced down across the board, from $100, to just $80.

This isn't the official pricing, but the one set by several retailers, including Amazon, Walmart and BestBuy. They have also discounted the controller package, which makes playing games on the device possible (you can also stream PS4 titles from another room) from the official $140, down to just $100.

It's not clear how long these bundle deals will last, as Sony hasn't made an official announcement of a price drop. It could very well mean that a new version is incoming, or a refresh of the hardware and the retailers are trying to clear stock.

The question is, is the little console worth it, even at the reduced price? What do you guys think?
