Nintendo NX rumors hit the web in spades

Nintendo's NX is a console that is said to have been in the works for some time now, but we still don't know much about it. That isn't about to change today, but we do have a number of rumors which should turn a few heads.

is claiming it has a lot of new information about the upcoming console which blends portability with traditional console features to make something quite different.

While we do need to take everything it says with a pinch of salt, the details come from its source that previously predicted the full 3D Pokemon game engine and the new Pokemon type in X and Y, all of which came true, so there is some credence to these rumors, even if they are just that for now.

Still, the NX is said to come with a wireless HDMI adaptor, which can be plugged into any display to make the NX work on it, using an evolved version of the WIi U's streaming tech.

Control sticks and joypads have built in haptic feedback through specialised motors. That means if you hit something, the sticks will move away from it to give something more than just a rumble.

Bluetooth synchronization is possible with almost any device, allowing the NX to hook up to smartphones, tablets and can even answer phone calls and take text messages for users.

Internal power is said to be close to that of an Xbox One, with strong emulation that makes it possible to run any Android title on the device, especially if it uses Unreal Engine 4.

Said to be very easy to develop for, the NX is described as being like a combination of a Nintendo 2DS and a Samsung smartphone, offering a lot of functionality and power without gimmicks.

We will of course need to wait, probably until E3 this year to learn more, but it does seem quite interesting. What do you think of these rumored features?
