Next Batman Game Is A Silver Age Prequel With JLA Co-Stars

The first details about Rocksteady’s next Batman game has been uncovered by the famous film industry magazine, Variety.

According to the magazine’s sources, the success of The Avengers movie has enticed Warner Bros. to start bringing its Justice League members together again. This has already started with the recently released "Lego Batman 2: DC Super Heroes" which hosts Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern and the Flash as playable characters.

The Justice League will assemble also in next years "Injustice: Gods Among Us" and then in the next title in the Batman: Arkham Asylum line. The yet unannounced game will be a prequel that revolves around Batman's first meeting with the Joker. The story and settings are inspired by Batman’s Silver Age comics from the 1950s when he cofounded the Justice League of America with Superman and other superheroes.

The game won’t be released before 2014, a year before the Justice League movie premiers.
