Speaking to the BBC, Microsoft chief executive officer Steve Ballmer confirmed that the company will support Kinect use on PC officially in the near future, or -to put it in his own words - Microsoft "will support that in a formal way in the right time".
Kinect has sold more than 8 million units to date and it is still going strong. The modding community has already developed a PC driver for Kinect and a growing number of applications is being developed using it.
