Kingdom Come: Deliverance will support mods at launch

Mod support can make or break a PC game. It not only means that home brew game makers can dig deep behind a game they love and therefore will spend time on it, but it means that as a developer, you don't have to pay people to keep your game from constantly evolving and pulling people back in.

Of course that often means DLC isn't viable, which is why it's less developers are keen to add support today, but that doesn't mean it never happens.

In-fact Warhorse Studios, the company behind Kingdom Come: Deliverance, has said that it will support mods from the get go. Unfortunately though, it won'allow FOV adjustments.

This was confirmed by the official twitter account, so it's pretty much a guarantee now. And that's very exciting for gamers everywhere, since Kingdom Come is a stunningly pretty sandbox that anything could show up in. It's single player, so there's no networking headaches to get around. It's designed as a medieval world without fantasy, much like Mount and Blade, but prettier.

A lot prettier.

Mods however could add fantasy elements for those that want them, historic accuracy perhaps, new characters, new voice acting, new weapons, armour, areas to explore and more.

What would you like to see modded into the game?
