According to reports from Japanese trade paper Nikkei, Sony Ericsson has decided to create a new cellphone - PSP hybrid handheld that aims to compete with the iPhone.
The report claims that an engineering team will be assembled as early as July to begin the development of the so-called "cellphone-game gear hybrid."
Nikkei is generally a reliable source for such info, although the timing is a little strange considering the fact that Sony has just announced PSPgo a couple of weeks ago.
