Here's some real PS4 Watch Dogs gameplay

Watch Dog's graphical fidelity on the new generation of systems was always going to be a hotbed of of contention. It was the game that first made people go "wow" about the next-gen consoles at the PS4 reveal, which is why it's been such a shame that it turns out neither console can remotely run it at 1080p. In-fact, the PS4 version is only 900p, while the Xbox barely breaks out of the HD-Ready aesthetic, with a 792P resolution.

On top of that, both games only run at 30FPS. Does this matter though? Well we'll really only find out when the game's been officially released, but that's not happening for a few more days, so we'll have to make do with this leaked footage from the PS4 version.

In-case you can't watch the above video, it features our hero protagonist doing a GTA and gunning down a bunch of innocents and the cops. Graphically it's a pretty game, but it does look a little empty compared to those early PC-rendered trailers and gameplay we saw. It also has a nasty looking aliasing around a lot of the finer edges, which is a real shame.

in the second video, we just get a slightly different look at the night-level's lighting, which isn't half bad. That aliasing on the car roofs really bugs me though.
