GTA V first person footage and new-gen details

There were rumours circulating a few weeks ago that suggested Rockstar had developed a first person game mode for the still un-released new-gen version of its latest opus, Grand Theft Auto V and now it looks to be entirely true.

However along with the footage of the new perspective, are also a bunch of other details about the re-release. For starters, the game will be playable in up to 4K resolution on PC and the light bar on the PS4's dualshock controllers will light up red and blue when you're being chased by the police.

Resolution and frame rate wise on the PS4 and Xbox One, yes, it's not ideal, as it will be limited to 30 FPS. You will however be able to play at 1080p, so that's something.

Other changes include all vehicles having their interiors re-done to fit with the first person mode and all the dials on dashboards work as expected. Rockstar has also added whole new animations for first person mode, meaning all of it looks good whichever perspective you're in at the time. You'll be able to switch between the two throughout the game as well.

There's also new additions in the form of vehicles, weapons, animals, radio shows and songs, but no mention of the still awaited Heists mode.

Xbox One and PS4 versions of the game will be released on November 18, whilst the PC release is set for January 27.
