G70 Specs Revealed

The first details regarding the new GeForce 7800 GFX board have been passed on to partners by nVidia and suggest that the new card may even be twice as powerful as its predecessor.

The version of the card the company is releasing information about, will have its core clocked at 430MHz with the memory running at 1400MHz. It will carry 256MB of 256-bit memory and is expected to feature two DVI's, VIVO and HDTV support. The board will feature 24-pipelines and a whole shedload of blending and filtering options. These boards are expected to score over 7800 3DMark05 points, that's where the number after the GeForce comes from.
