Fallout 4 settlements expanded with new Meat Totems

Fallout 4 was one of the biggest releases of 2015, so it's no surprise that Bethesda wants to keep people playing it for a little while longer at least. In the latest update, bringing the game to version 1.4, it's added a number of new settlement features, including items that will help players build a camp that would befit a stomping super mutant.

There's a new meat totem, meat bags and meat cart, so you can feed up your hungry, if rather gigantic, charge. There are a few a few other Super Mutant clutter items too. If you would prefer more of a Raider focused camp though, there's also clutter for them, including poles, cages and tents.

Other items include new abstract and portrait paintings - perhaps letting you build something less revolting than the Pickman gallery - new signs and a wider variety of doors made from various woods and metals.

Perhaps the more impactful change in this update though, is that it adds support for "add-ons," which is the Fallout 4 term for DLC content which is set to arrive in March. We previously looked over that content and though nice, most of it just makes official some of the mods that have become particularly popular in recent months.

There's also an extensive list of bugfixes, which you can delve through in the latest Bethesda blog post change log.
