EA's latest financial report has revealed a little bit about the publisher's plans for the next year. But those revelations raised more speculation than answers.
According to the newly released documents, Spore will skip EA's 2008 fiscal year which ends March 2008. No further details are given. EA has also announced that they will be releasing a Steven Spielberg video game, sometime before April 2008 exclusive to Nintendo's Wii.
That's it. No more details are given about Spore's progress nor about Spielberg's new game, not even the game genre or related franchise (although it will, most likely, be a 3rd person action adventure). Fans' speculations are pointing to a new Indiana Jones game which will utilise the WiiMote to control Indiana's whip, but that is, clearly, a wild guess with little or no evidence to back it up.
