Not content with making money off ads placed in its Draw Something game’s page, Zynga has actually started making players draw*i> the ads themselves as part of the game.
In Draw Something the player is given a list of items to choose one and draw it then his Facebook friends try to guess the term he chose.
One of the first organizations to place its ads inside the game is National Hockey League (NHL). Accordingly, players will now find terms such as "puck," "Zamboni" and "slap shot" among the items they should draw and/or guess.
Interestingly, Dan Porter the head of the game’s development studio (Omgpop) believes that this move doesn’t have any negative effects on the game; In fact, he claims that testers "loved to draw the Colonel [from KFC] and bags of Doritos."
