Depth adds asymmetric Megaladon hunt mode

As if Depth, the treasure gathering, shark fighting, underwater, team based FPS wasn't scary enough as it is, the developers have added a new game mode that sees five players take on the might of a prehistoric Megaladon. While the shark is unable to reach into the ruins with its giant bulk blocking the way, it becomes a whole other kettle of fish when you swim beyond the protection of those wrecks on the seabed.

As well as the new hunt mode, there's new sharks in the regular game modes, including the super-fast Mako and the camouflaged Tiger shark, both of which should add a new challenge for the divers looking to get rich without losing a limb or two.

Other additions include a new map, with an underwater mine called Devil's Head and a portable "shark shield," that turns divers invisible for a short while.

Released in November to luke-warm critical reception, but strong consumer reviews, Depth is available on Steam for $25 or as part of a $74 4-pack.
