Crytek announced that they will demonstrate their CryENGINE 2 and their Sandbox 2 gamer editor running on Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 at this year's GDC.

CryENGINE 2 is the 3d engine powering Crysis, the game famous for its cutting edge graphics as well as its steep hardware requirements.

Crytek promised also to do public demonstrations showing how its notoriously spec-heavy technology can be run on "a budget PC which can be put together for around 600 dollars complete, including keyboard and mouse," as well as licensees demonstrations, including architectural and serious games companies.
