Command And Conquer Goes FPS. Again Command And Conquer Goes FPS. Again Command And Conquer Goes FPS. Again

Back in 2004, EA had a stab at creating a Command And Conquer game. The result was Command And Conquer: Renegade which wasn't that impressive.

Today, we received word that they are actively working on a second C&C First Person shooter titled : Command And Conquer: Tiberium.

The game will take place 11 years after the Third Tiberium War, the same timeframe of the Command And Conquer 3 RTS. Players will play as Ricardo Vega, a GDI field commander dragged out of retirement to stop the latest Nod master plan. Vega will be commanding a squad called R.A.I.D. (Rapid Assault and Intercept Deployment). Battles will take place around the "Mediterranean Red Zone" and Special powers such as "Orbital Slug" will be available.

Command And Conquer: Tiberium Will be released late in 2008 for PC, Xbox 360 and Playstation 3.
(No official screens of the game are available yet, so all screens alongside this article are from C&C: Renegade)
