Chinese Overwatch player forced to prove she's not a hacker

A 17 year old Overwatch player has had to prove to organisers of the Nexus Cup that she isn't a bot or using any sort of hacks, after another team accused her of such. Gegury is so good that she dominated opposing teams, often singlehandedly, leading to her opponents assuming that she must be cheating.

Nope, she's just that good.

Initially reported by Redditor Calycae, Gegury is an absolute beast of a player. Her winrate is above 80 percent, her kill to death ratio is higher than 6.3, giving her the highest rating of any Overwatch player over 400 wins.

She helped her team dominate the Korean qualifiers, which is where the complaints started to roll in. Two professionals were so sure she was cheating, that they even pledged to quit playing the game (which admittedly they must have only started playing recently) if she was legit.

Which she most certainly is. Just check the recording of her play, it's clear she's just that good.

From her reaction speeds, to ability to monitor the map and locations of just about all of her opponents, she's quite the phenom. Expect to see a lot more of this girl in the coming months as the Overwatch Esport builds momentum.
