Battlegrounds devs have banned 150,000 cheaters so far

One of the downsides to having one of the world's most popular new games on your roster is that you have to deal with a big influx of cheaters and hackers who like to ruin the experience for everyone else. Fortunately, in the case of Battlegrounds, Bluehole is taking things quite seriously. So far, it has banned more than 150,000 players who it found to be cheating in some manner or another.

It's staying on top of it too, with more than 8,000 players banned in the last 24 hours alone according to a recent tweet by the developer.

BattleEye is the system currently looking closely at Battlegrounds and claims that Battle Royale game modes and games are some of the hardest to police because they end up with all to more cheaters than your average game. For starters, there are a lot of players in each game - in the case of Battlegrounds, 100 every round - and on top of that, they all want to win. That means that there's a chance in each game that you'll have at least one person willing to cheat to make it to that chicken dinner.

Of course there are some innocents who have been caught up in the banwave, but that's to be expected. How are you guys feeling about the way Battlegrounds is being policed at the moment?
