Game Cheats:
Base:
Don't be tempted to run for a base outside of your reach if the ball is close to another teams player.
Baserunning:
Keep a close eye on the ball when it is in play and don't bother running if it looks like a guaranteed catch as you will only have to scramble back to base.
Pitching:
Resist the temptation of going for a fast ball every time. Look at the variety of pitches each pitcher has to offer and take a good look at the piching grid and recognise the hot zones before deciding what pitch to use.
Contact Swing:
Use a 'Contact Swing' to drive the ball towards open spaces of the outfield so you make the other team run for it and give your base runners the time needed to reach home.
Power Swing:
To have the best chance of getting the ball over the fence leave the 'Power Swing' for players who rank high in that category.
Homerun:
Avoid going for a homerun if you have players on base waiting to make their way home as this is a risky move, especially if there are outfielder in the area you want to hit to.
