Press and hold triangle during an intermission sequence to fast foward it.

Palace gift

When your character's visit with the King has completed, wait until the midnight hour and walk to the Inn wherein you will speak with the Inn Keeper. The Inn Keeper will inform your character that an "odd girl" came up to him and gave him a gift for your character. Walk up to your room within the Inn. Once in the room your character will automatically open the gift. It is a watch to save the Island
